Evidence-Based Project Guidelines
The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate your ability to develop a PICO(S) question and to summarize, critique, and synthesize current research.
In addition, you will be considering the clinical application of this research to professional nursing practice.
The project will be based upon your individual clinical interest and also specified topic areas relevant to your current standing as a nursing student.
The EBP Project will be completed in four parts throughout the semester. The entire project will utilize appropriate APA formatting according to the most current guidelines.
Overall guidelines for each part of the project include:

- Length of the final project should be at least 12 pages; no more than 15 pages (not including the title page and references).
- You may cite additional resources, such as review articles, textbooks, or websites that are not original research. You should also cite your textbook when describing and critiquing research methods.
- Grading rubrics for each part of the project are provided. Feedback will be provided for Parts I, II, and III prior to the next submission due date. It is expected that revisions be made based on feedback provided. Revisions from a previous part of the paper should be highlighted in yellow prior to the next submission.
