The paper should be a political profile of a character from the Kissinger book, On China, that is no less than 500 words, no more than 750.
The main idea is to illustrate the course theme: China has this perspective, U.S. has this perspective- why? What are the implications for the relationship through one leader, person, rebel, official man or woman? Start with why Kissinger felt it was important to include them in his book, what was their impact? Did they hurt or help the U.S./China negotiations or relationship? You can also include historical data about their career, what they did with the remainder of their career, etc. It needs to be more in-depth.
