The document that students upload for Part One of the Final Examination will consist of at least five double-spaced pages and include the following:

Question #1: Explain how relationships between parents and their adult children change (or develop or evolve) throughout emerging and early adulthood. Do you believe the the parent-child relationship changes when a child becomes an adult, an emerging adult, and/or a young adult? Why or why not?

Directions for Question #1: Students are required to cite from at least one reputable source to support viewpoints they espouse in their response to Question #2. Although a maximum word limit for Question #2 has not been designated by the instructor, students are required to submit an essay that consists of a minimum of at least one full double-spaced page of content (Times New Roman, 12 point font).

Question #2: Express your viewpoint about the following topic: Is mid-life (i.e., middle adulthood) an appropriate time for a middle-aged adult to change careers? Why or why not?
