This is a literary essay on John Grisham. It is trying to prove that his success in his books is greatly due to formula. Which in these days is what people in the world, want. His books are not very diferent all his characters the smae, but they sell like crzy. in the intro, you could compare him to other things such as films that are selling well people are knowing what to expect. Eg. 007, lord of the rings, harry potter. He is the mcdonals of authors, you always know what your going to get. A John Grisham is a John Grisham
The body paragraphs MUST compary my three books which are , THE FIRM, THE TESTAMENT, and THE PARTNER. each paragraph will compare one of: How the structure between novels, is similar and formula like, the next will be Character, and their traits and similarities between the books, and the third paragraph will compare theme, and the formalistaic style used.
Each paragraph must have a MINIMUM, of 1 quote from the novels, it is recomended to have 2 or 3 to prove a point from each book, but it is also o.k. to paraphrase in a few instances. It is also fine to say that in these 2 books the characters are identicle while in the other it is reversed, It is just we are trying to prove the similarities between his novels , and plot lines, . That is the reason why his books sell because you know what you are going to get.
