Now that you have completed your technology knowledge and skills self-assessment and reviewed the learning resources for this module use the results of your technology self-assessment and Kirkpatrick’s model of evaluation to assess your educational technology training up to this point and to develop a plan for maintaining and improving your educational technology knowledge and skills. Post your assessment and plan as a page to the “Technology Self-Assessment and Improvement Plan” section of your e-portfolio.
Notes
There are the three self-assessments, which I completed and uploaded for reference in completing the reflection
In the first assessment, Early Technology, I scored 100 %, which is what is expected.
I should receive a score of 80 % on Assessments 2 and 3. However, this grade is not computed into my grade for the course.
In this reflection, evaluate my scores on 2 and 3 alongside Kirkpatrick’s model of evaluation (also uploaded) to assess my educational technology training so far and develop a plan to maintain and improve my technology knowledge and skills.
Regarding technology, my training has been from my day-to-day activities in my current role as Director of Patient Flow Services: EMAR, Kronos, Tele tracking, Email, and Webex meetings (create and join). I can do data retrieval and spreadsheet creation at a competent level. For creating diagrams, anything requiring formulas, etc., I contact IT for assistance.
Another training platform is pursuing my master’s in nursing education online. I learned how to create videos, navigate simulation labs, record cohort training, and upload papers to the similarity report and submission platform.
