We are continuing to examine the effect this pandemic/ COVID 19 has had on the care we provide to our palliative and hospice patients and their caregivers/families.
For this discussion board we will review Complicated Grief and the role the IDT has in assessing, supporting, and treating this debilitating phenomenon for bereaved individuals experiencing loss during this unprecedented time.

1. Describe interventions and assessment tools that may be utilized by a Masters prepared nurse working within a Palliative and Hospice Team in your area of interest to best support individuals at risk of experiencing complicated grief in response to loss during this pandemic.
