This last one is going to be a doozy, so if you need to parse it down you can address one aspect of it (gender or race, or you can address both if your answer can cover both). In the last few years race and gender issues have been made more salient; however, obviously discrepancies are still in the system. This can be seen with the lack of racial and gender diversity in management, but also the pandemic impact was much greater to working minorities and women.
The questions is this, what should companies do to be more equitable to all employees. I want new solutions, items like ‘diversity training’ have been going on for decades, suggest doing the same thing will not cut it. what policies or action by management do you think could improve this situation?
