You’re in Charge: Developing Your Own Comprehensive Behavior Management Plan
Go to IRIS Center (https://iris.peabody.vanderbilt.edu/)
- Scroll down and to the IRIS Resource Locator and select “Get Started”
- Select Behavior and Classroom Management
- Select Modules
- Choose Classroom Management (Part 2): Developing a Behavior Management Plan (You may choose elementary or secondary based upon your interests)
Part I
Copy the module guidelines(or outline) and complete the answers as you work through the module.
Please use a different color font for your answers and be sure you do your own work.
Part 2
The website will continue to direct you to create your own plan/assessment. Keep following those directions. Be sure you do all 5 parts of the action plan and follow the guidelines. Make sure to include your skits in the process, materials, and outcomes section in the student recognition part of the action plan.
When you finish your plan on the website, it will direct you to select on a link to print. Select on this and your beautiful plan will pop up. Make sure to save this to your computer!
Please upload your guideline/outline page and the worksheet separately. You can combine the guideline and worksheet page if you wish, but leave the plan as a separate document.
Grading
Module – 50 points (deductions made for incomplete and inaccurate responses)
Original Behavior Plan – 50 points (points awarded for attending well to rules-how they are stated, procedures, consequences, etc.)
Total Points = 100
