Design a collaborative wiki on responsible leadership and Goal 13 (Climate Action) of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) https://sdgs.un.org/goals (Links to an external site.) For your group Wiki you need to:
1. Choose the curator for your Wiki – this person has final editing power of the design and content of the Wiki. Get the curator to set up the wiki and email the link to your lecturer
2. Introduce your Wiki (500 words). Make sure this is visually attention grabbing and engaging
3. Provide a summary of SDG 13 (in your own words). As part of this, include graphics, data, and video that highlights how the SDG is being implemented in a country of your choice (500 words)
4. Identify two responsible leadership theories from the course and apply them to SDG 13. Specifically, address how these theories might relate to SDG 13 and explain how they could support/enhance its progress (500 words)
5. Discuss how Māori indigenous knowledge is related to SDG 13 overall and explain how Māori approaches to leadership might contribute to the development of SDG 13 (500 words)
6. A conclusion (500 words). This should summarise your Wiki and again be visually engaging
To get a good mark in your Wiki you will need to research further than the required material for this course. For example, for SDG 13, you might find research supportive of the notion that responsible leadership enhances environmental awareness of employees or that it reduces organizational waste. A good wiki also has great graphics and data that support written components. Again, you will have to find these.
We will be using Microsoft Office Sway to design the Wiki. This software is freely available to students as part Microsoft Office. More details about how to access and use this software will be handed out in Week 3 when you are put in groups. These groups will be set up to interact via Microsoft Teams in Week 3.
