Instructions: Choose a significant event or other major change in higher education that influenced the growth of the Student Affairs profession. [Note to writer: You can come up with your own example as it fits. Please make sure you use American higher educational institution.] You do not need to create an actual screencast as the most important thing is to find out the content of the screencast and not the beautification. But assume that you are creating professional 11 slide screencast that would be appropriate to use for a professional student affairs conference or for a formal workplace presentation. Use this week’s course readings and resources [Note to writer: See the course readings for this week above] and two additional outside academic sources (e.g., peer-reviewed articles, college websites, and other relevant resources) in the presentation of this material. The following is a guide for what your slideshow/screencast should contain:
- Title slide (1 slide)
- Introduction slide (1 slide)
- Slide(s) about the nature or conditions related to your chosen topic in the years prior to your chosen event or major change in higher education (2 slides)
- Slides containing details related to your topic (4 slides)
- The short-term and long-term effects of this new development (2 slides). Did it impact the Student Affairs as we see now? If so, how?
- References slide formatted according to APA guidelines (1 slide)
