In a multi-cultural workforce there is global evidence of the number of increased Near Miss/Close Call safety incidents in relation to a Nation’s single culture.
Write a report which investigates the following:
1. Issues into why there are a higher number of incidents.
2. Identify any barriers or constraints that may have led into why there are higher numbers of incidents, using other industries as well for reference.
3. Develop/identify methods that may be applied to reduce the number of cases within a multi-cultural workforce, using other industries as well for reference and evidence of successes.
The aim of the report is to formulate a strategy that will help to reduce incidents and also mitigates risks as low as reasonably practicable, ensuring the staff within a multi-cultural workforce remain compliant in a Railway Safety Critical Environment.
