Women did not report violent incidents to the authority, which represents a major problem in the community. The most common cause of un-notification authorities are culture or religion belief (32%), benefit of kids (fear from take them or abuse them) (32%), then family’s fame (16.2%), Financial dependency (10%), Fear of more abuse (6,1%), Loneliness (3.7%). Other reasons presented by respondents based to the authorities who are reluctant to help victims of domestic violence and not treating matters seriously enough. Low charge and conviction rates are at odds with policy positions that ‘domestic violence is a crime. Women were more likely to talk to someone else about a violent incident than they were to tell police or contact a specialized agency.
