WRITING ASSESSMENT
What are the similarities and differences between the Reconstruction, the Progressive Era, and the Civil Rights Movement? How are these three eras in history connected?
Format: Introduction Paragraph must be a RIOT paragraph. Body paragraphs must be PEEL format.
Outline for Essay
RIOT (introduction paragraph)

O – Opposing points of view (who opposed each reform in each era)
T – Thesis (what you are trying to prove – there is a distinct connection between the three eras)
