Yousef is 10 years old, and he is in grade 7 section 2 . He is my nephew and he is living with me , His private teacher told me that Yousef always gets out of his seat and move around the room while he is teaching during Arabic class . I observe him for five days in home while the teacher is teaching .
Target Behavior:
“ Getting out of seat without permission during Arabic session at home “
Operational definition :
When Yousef leaves his seat for any reason- but not doing any activity assign by the Arabic teacher – while the teacher is explaining the lesson. He gets out of his seat without permission whether to go to another chair ,or to take some papers or take something from around .
Reason :
I have chosen this behavior as it is one of the behaviors that bother teachers especially Home’s teacher because he have to finish his job in one hour with solving homework’s. This behavior may be acceptable in primary but the student in preparatory it is really disruptive behavior.
Procedures \Method :
We using the duration Recording that involves measuring the length of time from when a behavior begins to its termination that means we record how long Yousef gets out of his seat during Arabic class in 10 minute for five days .

We notes that the behavior reach the highest duration was 8 minutes on 10-11-2016 and the lowest duration was 5 minutes for leaving his seat on 12-11-2016 for 10 Minutes .
