Use metaphor that describe how a camera works.
Example:
One example of a metaphor we looked at is a window. The shutters on the window act like the shutter in a camera. The longer they are open, the more light can pass through. The size of the window is like the aperture of the lens. A big window will let in a lot of light. A small window will let in a small amount of light. Another example is the human eye in this week’s video. We also looked at the metaphor of the sun bather on the beach.
