Research Papers: A written research paper of a minimum of:
8 full pages, single-spaced and neatly typed.
Standard margins, spacing, and type size must be used. Do not duplex in printing and do not attempt to pad your paper to fill requirements.
Page citations of sources must be listed in the paper.
Please use the APA Style Guide for the required research citations and style. This is readily available on line.
At least 5 sources other than class materials must be properly cited in the bibliography according to these guidelines.
Web sites and organizations may be cited, but all must be listed in full proper form for easy access on the internet. You may use Citation Machine to assist with this: http://www.citationmachine.net
Your research paper will discuss both the pro and con positions of the following 4 debate topics (2 pages each topic):
Debate #1: “All political trade sanctions to influence policies abroad must be stopped!”
Debate #2: “All immigration into the U.S. must be stopped!”
Debate #3: “Scotland must be independent from Great Britain!”
Debate #4: “All government debt repayments from poor countries must be stopped!”
