Reflection
When I watch this TED Talk, I think about it, a single story is actually quite common in our lives, but sometimes single stories are too beautiful to be things, like in a fairy tale immortal prince and princess are happy to live together at the end, or two people can finally go together in romance at last, however sometimes it can also come to the extreme tragedy, such as single-parent families are extremely tragic, and Taiwan compatriots think of the we mainland people in dire straits, and we mainland people even need to be rescued, even think we mainland people cannot afford to eat tea eggs, this is very funny. There are countless examples like such examples. However, through these single stories, we cannot make the right judgments, or take on performance of the right attitude, like no sooner a scandal had been exposed to the public, like there were always some Internet users regardless of anything, on the shouting in order to wait for people around the world to feel his or her angry. But he or she may just only catches the tip of the iceberg tightly, and gives up or strangle all positive sides, and he or she is still self-righteous very much. Stories have been used to have deprived and vicious side, but stories can also be used to empower and humanize. Stories can break a people’s dignity, but stories can also repair this kind of broken dignity.
As a old saying goes, thinking twice, and undoubtedly it is reasonable. I think we can stay calm down, look at all the facts, listen to both sides of the opinions, and then make your judgment and prepare your ideas in advance. After all, this is a responsible behavior on yourself and others, and we people should achieve this kind of minimum commitment.
