THIS IS A QUANTITATIVE STUDY
Sources of Data or Instrumentation (4 Paragraphs) – At least 4 citations
Contains a detailed discussion of data collection methods sources of data collection instruments (quantitative research with primary data). Data collection instruments include surveys or questionnaires.
The survey I will use will be: ***Dr. Paul Spector’s Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) and Turnover Intent Survey (TI) (Cite: Spector, 1985)
This section should also include a discussion justifying the selected data collection instrument (See above) or method supported by citations from scholarly sources as well as citations from other researchers in the field of study who used the same instrument or data collection method. (Please cite these sources….)
The learner should note that permission was given to reuse the survey.
Be sure to address the following:
• Identify each data collection instrument and source (see above)
• Identify source for each data collection instrument (published).
• Establish sufficiency of data collection instruments to answer research questions.
For published data collection instruments: (See Spector, 1985)
• Who developed the instrument and what is the date of publication? (Cite)
• Where and with which participant group has it been used previously? (Cite)
• How appropriate is it for current study?
• Describe how content validity will be or was established.
• Describe how content validity will be / was established.
• Establish sufficiency of data collection instruments to answer the research questions.
Procedures for Pilot Studies (as appropriate):
• Include all procedures for recruitment, participation, and data collection associated with the pilot study and the main study.
• Describe the relationship of the pilot study to the main study (e.g., what is the purpose of the pilot study?)
Procedures for Recruitment, Participation, and Data Collection (for students collecting their own data):
• For each data collection instrument and research question, provide details of data collection.
• From where data will be collected? Pollfish
• Who will collect the data? Researcher though Pollfish
• Frequency of data collection events: 1 time over a period of 2 weeks
• Duration of data collection events. 2 weeks
• How data will be recorded?
• Follow-up plan if recruitment results in too few participants (Document this is a limitation of the study.. please elaborate)
• Explain how participants exit the study (for example, debriefing procedures).

Reliability
In this section, the student discusses how the concept of reliability applies to their research. For quantitative studies, include specific reliability statistics for the quantitative instruments, (The Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) survey and the Turnover Intent Survey (TI) and identify who developed the instrument (See above and see Spector, 1985 reference) and how the reliability statistics were developed. This section should be 2 paragraphs. At least 3 citations.

Limitations
This section should include details on limitations related to the research approach, methodology, research design, population, instrumentation (quantitative). Include reasons why the limitations under discussion are unavoidable and not expected to affect the research results negatively. Discuss limitations in paragraph form. This section should be 2 paragraphs. At least 3 citations
