Persuasive Speech
Renewable Energy
The premise of the assignment is that wealthy philanthropists have agreed to fund implementation of innovative renewable energy ideas. Funding resources are nearly unlimited, but the catch is that funding will be provided for only ONE innovative idea. Students will select one of the topics from the list of innovative Renewable Energy topics (see below) to research and develop a persuasive speech designed to convince the audience (wealthy philanthropists) to fund their idea over all others.
Research the topic, learning as much as you can and create a persuasive speech. Five (or more) sources are required for this speech. As always, the author of each source must be an actual person, with their specific name provided – not a business, organization, entity, etc. Additionally, this speech requires creating and incorporating a PowerPoint Presentation Aid during the speech
