One of the theories that can be can be incorporated in the nursing leadership for the better care of the patient care is the Neuman’s system model. This theory is established from stress. Alligood (2014) asserts that the stress faced by the patients can be identified and solved through nursing care. Based on the stress faced by the patients being identified, the medical service providers are in a position of delivering the best health care to the patients. For instance, a patient who is psychologically disturbed about his or her health condition whereby they think that they are not in a position to recover can be in a depressive mood. Such depression only makes the healing process slow and the health condition to depreciate. Through understanding such stress faced by the patient, the healthcare service providers can come up with a strategy that will relieve the patient’s stress such as interaction.

Lee (2014) explains an instance of the Neuman’s Systems Model in use in delivering medical attention to the patients. Lee’s article describes the case of asthma patients being treated by the aid of the Neuman’s Systems Model. Asthma patients experience stress based on their condition whereby the attacks happen unexpectedly. The Neuman’s System Model provides both primary and secondary interventions, which prevent the occurrence of the attacks and quick recovery upon the attacks (Turner & Kaylor, 2015). This system provides a form of relationship between the nurses and the patients. Through the relationship, the patient and the nurse can easily understand each other hence help in the efficiency of the health care service Providence (Alligood, 2014). Besides, the teamwork ensures better outcome since communication is more efficient hence making the treatment experience better.
