ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Students are expected to attend regularly and have the responsibility to be on time and to consult with the instructor when an absence occurs. Be sure to read the complete departmental attendance policy in the departmental syllabus.
COMPUTER/ONLINE COMPONENT
You will need a current e-mail address that you check regularly. On blackboard check your personal information to ensure that the listed email address is current. Make sure to check your Blackboard often. You MUST purchase an access code to be able to access the MyMathLab computer software. You will have homework for each session.
BOOK HOMEWORK:
You will have Chapter book work at the end of each chapter. The sessions will be posted on Blackboard and the work is due at the beginning of the next class meeting; it should be neatly written; and no late work will be graded. Each person will present at least one question from the homework.
UNIT EXAMS:
This course consists of 4 unit tests worth 100 points each. The highest 3 grades will count for your final grade; the lowest test grade will be dropped. If you do not pass an exam you should make an appointment will me to review the exam.
FINAL EXAM:
The final exam is a cumulative exam and will count as two unit exam grades. It will be taken in your regular classroom during final week.
COURSE GRADE: Your final grade will be computed as follows:

The final grade will be recorded using the following scale:
A: 90-100 average B: 80-89 average C: 70-79 average D: 60-69 average F: below 60 average
