Learning and Performance – Week 6 Assignment
SWOT
SWOT Analysis illustration – Strengths->Weaknesses->Opportunities->Threats
“Environmental analysis is a critical part of the strategic management planning process. The SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) framework is proposed by many as an analytical tool which should be used to categorize significant environmental factors both internal and external to the organization.” (Pickton & Wright 1998).
Pick a training program at your current company, discuss its S.W.O.T (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) that could prevent this training from being effective. Think of the ‘S’ and ‘W’ as internal factors you control and the ‘O ‘and ‘T’ as external factors you do not control (or you may have limited control in some cases).
Write an approximately 1800-word paper, APA formatted, with three sources. Please reflect not only on the presented articles but on the ones you find online or in our library.
