Complete the 3 questions. There should be a minimum of three peer reviewed journal articles used, inclusive of in-text citations and a reference listing in APA format. Remember to write in third person, objective consultant point of view. All answers should be at least 200 words a piece and be sure to answer each question separately.
Case Study: Job Design
Read the case titled “Job Analysis at CompTech.” As a HR consultant, you are asked to help answer the following questions:
- What are the current job specifications for the store manager job? Based on the information you have (or could have), how would you assess the validity of these specifications? What approaches would you use?
- As the HR Consultant for CompTech you discover there is no formal job description for any retail management position. How should you proceed?
- Carlyle is giving strong consideration to hiring a full-time personnel recruiter (CompTech has never employed such as specialist). Assuming she has decided to hire such a person, how should she proceed?
