A. Locate 10 research articles that are related to one of the following broad topics, health risk behaviors or measures of health. Seek studies relevant to your field of study (Health Services Administration). The articles should represent examples of research that are relevant to the selected topic, found in professional journals, and published in the past five (5) years. Include examples of both qualitative and quantitative research. You may discard some of the first articles you read and find others to replace them as you begin to find deficiencies where additional studies are needed and as you define your own study.
B. For each source identify the reference, research problem, purpose, research questions or hypotheses, data collection procedures, and results or findings. (see pages 126 & 127 in your text)
C. Write a literature review using a “study-by-study” format (see example lit review). The body of your paper should be at least 8-10 double-spaced pages.
D. Conclude the review by identifying deficiencies in the reviewed literature and proposing a new study that needs to be done in this area to fill the deficiency
E. Include all necessary within-text and end-of-text references in the format described by the APA style manual.
