I need a Reflective Journal of a student nurse working in community health associated with a school project. The student is developing a handwashingprogram for the school.
PLEASE FOLLOWING THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS:
A. Thoughtfully reflect on how your activities as a nursing student working on a handwashing project for the schools, have contributed to your learning plan?
B. What insights have your gained?
C. What new questions have surfaced for you?
D. Reflect on nursing theories or concepts you used or could have used in the development of your project?
E. Reflect on the Handwashing program, including strengths, limitations, what could be done differently in terms of your own learning and practice and in terms of teh primary health care principles?
In the Journal I need critical thinking, observation and description, as well as release of the students feelings. please use the following stages:
1. Awareness – response to thoughts or feeling that arise from a surprise or a unique situation in which the student’s knowledge is insufficient to explain what happened.
2. Critical analysis – the students analysis of the situation bring in exisiting knowledge (past experience) and applies new learned knowledge, the can relate to and expand
3. New perspective: – the student develop new perspective of the situation transformed by the analysis and or application of new information to the experince. ( personal insights)

OBSERVATION, DESCRIPTION, ANALYSIS, LINK OF NURSING THEORY AND PAST EXPERIENCE TO EXPERIENCE, PERSONAL THOUGHTS.
You may use any nursing theory that applies to “development of a school health program”. Example epidemiological principles, actions supportive of community capacity building, methods of teaching based on the ‘transtheoretical model’ use of a program planning model
Material must be critical, and analytical, creative and use of logical thinking applied.
