- Read the passage in several translations of the Hebrew Bible (NRSV, KJV, NIV, etc.) noting differences in wording.

- Consider the historical setting of the text and what effect that has upon your understanding of the text.

• Engage 3-4 commentaries and two journal articles in your research and include them
in your bibliography. Use these resources to support or critique your point of view,
do not merely quote them for the sake of quoting.
• Do not use long quotations from Scripture, rather simply include the biblical citation
