This is a persuasive essay, and your arguments need to be supported with facts from primary sources. c) ESSAYS NEED TO BE WRITTEN FROM AN OUTLINE. See a format for your outline below. The Introduction should be one paragraph, highlighting the topic, main issues, and your central arguments. The next 3 to 4 paragraphs should outline your main points. The last paragraph should summarize your arguments or point of view on the issue. ONCE YOU HAVE WRITTEN YOUR ESSAY, CREATE AN INTERESTING TITLE THAT ATTRACTS YOUR READER. A persuasive essay should contain 2 to 3 main arguments for your opinion. Each argument should be supported by factual information (with references). The essay should be 5 to 7 paragraphs in length.
