Empathy: How can we understand barriers to empathy better? What can we do about these barriers?
For this assignment, you must at least use one course reading in your paper. I have attached the reading below. Your paper must have a minimum of two scholarly articles about your topic. However, it can have more. You will need to choose the most appropriate Gaipa strategy or strategies for you to break into the conversation. Then, you will develop your own original, focused and specific argument and use your chosen secondary articles along with whatever necessary primary texts you need to convince your reader. You will need to employ your close-reading skills both to adequately engage with your chosen secondary articles and to effectively employ your chosen primary texts. As you write your essay, please keep in mind why this topic matters, and why it should matter to your readers.
