Students will create a well thought out question(s) reflecting readings for a particular week in the semester, related to internship/employment, or anything related to the social work field. The questions may be used in class, small groups, or in group partnerships to focus and stimulate meaningful conversation. The instructor may not always address these questions in class.
- The question(s) should reflect what you have learned/applicability of the topic for the class including readings or from practical experiences or related to internship/employment, or anything related to the social work field. It can also reflect a commentary and/or question component relating to anti-racist/anti-oppressive social work practice/PROP/cultural relevance.
- Discussion questions will be submitted to the instructor ahead of time via Canvas.
Students will prepare questions each week between Weeks 2-11. To receive full credit, the assignment must be submitted on time and follow all guidelines above. This assignment is worth 5% of the course grade.
