Data Analysis
One of the major learning objectives of the case study is gain a basic competency in data analysis and summarization. Below are the tasks to complete the assignment:
- Analyze the alumni survey results.
- Prepare a two to three page single spaced bulleted summary of the Public Administration Institute Alumni Survey results with recommendations to improve the program addressing the following areas:
- Summarize the 5 main learning points from the survey results
- Make at least three specific recommendations for improving the program
- Make at least three improvement recommendations for the survey and research methods process
- Provide four peer posts of approximately 100 words each

Survey Methodology
- Alumni from the past five years were the target population.
- Email addresses were obtained from Alumni Affairs and emails were sent with an encrypted link from Survey Methods for completing the instrument. In the email, the public administration director explained the purpose of the survey and urged alumni to complete it. One follow-up email was sent.
- Of the 100 alumni on the email list, responses were received from 18.
