Women are supposed to cook and do housework. This is a gender stereotype why are women supposed to cook and do housework. When dealing with male and female the distinction between the two serves as a basic organizing principle for every human culture. However, societies differ in the specific tasks they assign to the two sexes, for example back in the day people believed that a nurse had to be a female and truck driver had to be male. We tend to expected to have sex specific skills and also personality attenuates. Something has to be feminine and masculine and this can be defined in different way based of cultural (Sampson,E.E ,1977).
