Short Paper – Civil Law and Criminal Law
This paper will allow you to examine the differences between civil law and criminal law, as well as the state and federal court systems.
Compare and contrast the differences between civil and criminal law as it pertains to the United States. Additionally, compare the structure of the state and federal court systems.
For this assignment, I encourage each of you to select cases of interest (personal and/or professional) and use them to help illustrate your discussion. For all of our work, the more we can relate our analysis to issues of personal and professional relevance the more interesting our discussions and studies will become.
