Since this presentation is a group presentation my part is 2 slides about my isolate, so please make 2 slides about bacteria (Klebsiella ozaenae) follow the instructions and don’t forget references, I attached some pictures as my tests I did in lab just for your information. Thank you!!
Final Presentation for BIO SIRIUS AMERICAN RIVER MICRO ISOLATE Project
As scientists, in addition to researching answers to questions, we spend a lot of time communicating and discussing our findings with others through reports, presentations, and even social media. The last part of the SIRIUS ARMI Project involves synthesizing your results and presenting your findings to your classmates. We look forward to an engaging Q&A period following each presentation. Come prepared to not only present, but also to ask questions.
Presentation Requirements
- 10-12 minute presentation per group in PowerPoint format (or PDF).
- Maximum ten slides for the presentation (not including title slide and slide for references)
- All members of the group must present.
- Please include the following in your presentation
- Water Quality Data
- Identification of American River Isolates, all ARIs identified by your Team (1-2 slides for each ARI)
- Include key test that led you to make this conclusion and if there were test results that didn’t quite match the dichotomous key results for your organism.
- Some details/background about each ARI:
- Where is it normally found?
- How does this isolate relate to the ecosystem?
- Does it make sense that this isolate is found in the American River?
- What role does it have or could it have in the American River ecosystem?
- Future Directions Scientists look to their results to inform their next set of experiments. We are always looking for “what will be next”. What would you do next on this project? For this section, please include:
- Presentation of your proposed PCR experiment (specifically, what genes you are looking for and why)
- May also include:
- What you might do differently next time or how the SIRUS ARMI project could be improved.
- Additional questions/experiments you would like to pursue.
My isolate:
