Business Letter (40 points)

For this deliverable, you will continue to assume the role of project manager regarding the development of your organization’s social media platform. To guide your work, you will draw from the readings in the course textbook as well as our class discussions and employ rhetorical strategies that are responsive to the communication demands of the following scenario:

Your project team has determined that it is important to gather information from other (your collage) organizations to see how and if they currently use social media to promote visibility and awareness of their organization. In addition, the project team is interested in learning more from other members within their organization regarding potential concerns they may have about the company developing a social media campaign. As such, your team has decided to compose a letter to be sent to the members of the organization notifying them that they will complete a few surveys about social media as a tool for this specific organization and/or other organizations that these same members might be a part of. In addition, the letter will notify members that they may be needed for interviews by members of the social media campaign committee for further details about the most successful approach to social media as tools for the organization. The goal of the letter is to inform employees of these activities as well as to notify them of the organization’s goal of developing a social media campaign by the end of the Fall 2019 term.
