Business cannot run without having regulations as they facilitate the businesses to remain sustainable and be socially responsible. As such, businesses are not only the beneficiaries of law as they also benefit the law. One of these ways is when business dictate the environment that they operate. In this case, one business cannot survive under illegal operations of the other; thus, they facilitate the making of laws that regulate such operations. In addition, businesses cannot function under activities that are not profitable by offering cheap goods that are against human rights. As a result, the business provides a platform that the government should make standardized laws that support every form of a business. Lastly, the urge of businesses to act virtuous and attain sustainability for all of its stakeholders, they support the existing regulations in areas such as product safety and employee safety and health. However, laws must be established to prevent free riders from exploiting these regulations.
