Like Carroll’s, “Alice In Wonderland” we see that perception can take many forms. In our text, we talk about “perception lenses”….what does this mean? As our personal standpoint often influences our opinion, how might we discern between “inference” and “judgment”? As a final point, think about C. Wright Mills and the “Sociological Imagination”….have you ever been able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes to understand where they were coming from?
