Throughout this course, you will be expected to complete a series of assignments with the end goal of constructing a research paper. This eight to twelve page research paper will focus on a specific diagnostic category of your choice, from a topic that has been covered in class. Your paper must include the following information regarding the disorder:
- Diagnostic criteria from the DSM
- Prevalence and Incidence
- A review of theoretical perspectives on causes of the disorder
- A review of treatment approaches
- A case example
The final paper should have the following in APA format:
- Title Page
- Abstract
- Body of the paper including:
- Diagnostic criteria from the DSM o Prevalence and Incidence o A review of theoretical perspectives on causes of the disorder
- A review of treatment approaches
- A case example
- Conclusion
- Reference Pages
