You are the Dean of Enrollment Management at a Mid-sized, Private, Midwestern University. Your university’s budget is highly dependent on tuition revenue. Your incoming classes over the last 5 years have been trending slightly downward (from around 950 to 920). Your Senior Leadership Team has asked you to research current demographic and population trends and give them a brief overview. For your presentation to the Senior Leadership Team you will create a 12-14 page PowerPoint Presentation. Refer to the Grawe text to help you answer the prompts below.
Be sure to include the following in your presentation:
- A coherent overview of current population and demographic trends.
- The potential impact to higher education in general
- The potential impact specifically to institutions like yours (private, mid-sized, located in the midwest)
- A slide that includes a few ideas that you recommend to the Senior Leadership Team that should be explored that will help your University address the current situation.
- Make sure to cite all of the sources that you use (sources at the bottom of each slide and then all of the sources on a final slide).
- Be sure to include robust speaker notes explaining your content for each slide.
For this assignment you are to refer back to the readings that you have done, including the Grawe text in Week 1 and Week 2.
