Overview
This course will require you to create graphs using Microsoft Excel and the Analysis ToolPak add-in. For this activity, you will use the same data set as the Module Two Activity: Descriptive Statistics Quiz to create a pie chart and a histogram. This activity prepares you for creating graphs for Projects One and Three.
Note that you will submit images in your Soomo webtext of the two graphs you will create. This is important because you will need to do this again as part of Projects One and Three. For more information about how to save graphs as images, refer to the Save a Chart as a Picture resource from Microsoft Support.
Prompt
For this activity, you will submit a Word file containing two images of graphs: a pie chart for Race and a histogram for Age. You will complete this activity using your Soomo webtext writing template and the data set provided in Soomo.
Specifically, you must address the following:
Create a pie chart for Race.
Create a histogram for Age, with a bin for each year based on the minimum and maximum data.
This assignment is graded pass/fail based on completion.
