Remember this is a team assignment so i do not need 15 slides
Prepare a minimum 15 slide presentation, with speaker notes, that illustrates the defining phase project deliverables. Remember, a presentation is a VISUAL. It is not a paper. What you would say in the presentation will be in your speaker notes. Add animation, graphics and other elements to have a strong visual that supports your speaker notes.
Include slides for the following elements in your presentation:
- Project overview
- Project scope statement
- Project charter
- Work breakdown structure (WBS) to three levels developed in Microsoft® Project. This should be in the appendix of your presentation. In the presentation, provide the GANTT chart as a visual.
- Communication matrix – (See Figure 4.10 in Ch. 4 of Project Management.)
Evaluate the followingin the speaker notes (no speaker notes are required for slides in the appendix):
- The project objectives and deliverables (using SMART methodology as described in Ch. 2 of Project Management)
- The scope statement that the team finalized using the checklist in Ch. 4 of Project Management
- The charter the team developed and the specific responsibilities of each team member
- The WBS that was developed and an explanation of how the work will be distributed to the project team. The speaker notes for this should be on the GANTT slide NOT in the appendix
- The key stakeholder groups and their project information needs as outlined in the communication plan
- Justification as to why the specific stakeholders were chosen for the communication plan
Submit your presentation. Note: One person will submit the presentation for the entire team.
