Throughout this course, we have discussed the importance of effective recruitment and selection procedures, as well as the many benefits that training and development have on the organization. All have an impact on retention, and with that knowledge assess the following:
What are the principle causes for turnover in an organization?
Assess whether these causes lie within the purview/influence of an employer or employee.
Specifically, discuss the impact a more effective training and development program – for new and existing staff – can have on an organization’s retention.
