Research Instructions
Research Question: Does Human Security and National Security mean the same thing for the citizen? Or does national security require the citizen to give up constitutional/human rights in order to achieve the goals of both national and human security.
Instruction:
- Use the 3 articles given, as well as research outside of that
- Goal is to critical think/deliver a strong analysis of the question
- Use real world empirical example if possible (case study)…. Possible case study is “United States Mass Surveillance” (suggestion) doesn’t need to be used if another one is better
- Aims too prove a point in the essay; an answer isn’t required but makes the reader think about what’s being written.
- Explanations of national security/human security can be used
- The role of security that falls to the state explain why its necessary
