Assignment: Designing a Privacy Website for a Consumer Advocacy Group
You work in the privacy department of a new consumer advocacy group and have been asked to:
- draw up the content for a website that will explain in simple terms the basic privacy protections granted to consumers under various federal statutes, and
- the appropriate avenues of legal recourse for enforcing those rights.
As part of this exercise, you have been asked to flag the ease with which a consumer can assert each right, perhaps using a color-coded scale or other notation system to differentiate, say, situations where customers would be forced to bring expensive litigation versus situations where they might make a simple complaint.
Because this content is to be translated into a webpage format, it shouldn’t be more than 5 double spaced pages in length, including any graphics or illustrations you might choose to incorporate.
