MY THOUGHTS….
(for #1 and #2)**I would assume that nursing education would be have the most abundant references. You choose, whichever is the easiest to research, but I was able to locate lots of current references quickly with regards to nursing education…provided below:
Nursing education: The past, present and future
Nursing education: The past, present and future
Journal of Nursing
Current and Future Educational Challenges for the Nurse Educator… https://rn-journal.com/journal-of-nursing/educational-challenges-in-nurse-education
The Future of Nursing: Focus on Education
This is from the important IOM report of nursing 2011, although past the 5 year, this report hold up. http://www.nationalacademies.org/hmd/Reports/2010/The-Future-of-Nursing-Leading-Change-Advancing-Health/Report-Brief-Education.aspx
(for #3 and #4 in the instructions)…I intend to be an Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). My state is very open and allow for completely independent practice for NP’s. The concerns are the movement in the field to receive a doctorate. The movement is to follow up the NP with a DNP. I do not want to continue my education, creating concern with employment prospects and longevity in my career. The IOM Future of Nursing Report (link below), indicates that this is the evolution of NP’s, to move to DNP. I am somewhat concerned about this particular evolution.
IOM report contains recommendations to facilitate advanced practice… http://www.theamericannurse.org/2010/11/30/iom-report-contains-recommendations-to-facilitate-advanced-practice/
The IOM recommended that there be double the number of nurses with doctorate degrees by 2020. This goal has already been achieved. In 2010, the total number of employed RNs with doctoral degrees was 10,022. In 2017, it was 28,004.

I will also add the site for easy access to my state regulations. We don’t really have any specific restrictions, but citing the regulatory agency would be a good idea. Feel free to utilize any of the references from the 1st paper you wrote for me (on state requirements for advanced practice nurses) for the state of ***. The name of the sate will be provided to the assigned writer.
DORA (***Department of Regulatory Agencies);
The link will be provided to the assigned writer.
I can also add a sample paper. It uses forensic nursing instead of nursing education, and doesn’t seem to answer all 4 of the questions, but you will get an idea of what is required. Following the rubric and above details would probably have more detained requirements.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
