Assignment Instructions
Consider the following scenario: You are a work-at-home associate for a large health insurance company and you are traveling on business. You decide to get some work done at the local coffee shop and log on to their free Wi-Fi to access your company resources for work. After reviewing your assigned readings, the pages from Chapter 9 in your textbook, and using research from the Internet and Library, write a 1-2 page paper in which you:
- Describe the potential security concerns in connecting to the open unsecured Wi-Fi connection described in this scenario.
- Describe some approaches that could be taken to secure your work and laptop across this open Wi-Fi connection.
- Summarize a recent article describing a breach across an open Wi-Fi connection.
