for this assessment I need three minute of talking and an 850 words reflection.
to give you an idea about this assessment is that we had to form in a group of 4 people and had to:
UNDERTAKE A FIELD SITE VISIT AS A GROUP… did that and our visit was to SYDNEY OBSEVETRY
PRETENDING THAT WE ARE TEACHERS AND HAVE TO TAKE THE KIDS TO AN excursion (SYDNEY OBSEVETRY). We agreed as a group to focus on Stage 1 – People and Places of the HSIE syllabus
here is the link for N.S.W syllabus

step 1
I have to talk for 3 minute, so for this section I need about 450 words for my role which is to:
Create one object that a teacher could use to support teaching about the topic and stage. You will show this, explain what it is and how it could be used in a HSIE lesson.
Suggest at least one quality and stage appropriate picture book that could be used to explore the HSIE TOPIC. Labelled photos of these items will be added to the group Piktochart.
so the site is SYDNEY OBSEVETRY
And the object that I’ll be making is a paper telescope which is going to look like this:
step 2
search about Sydney observatory and write 5 to 8 bullet points
step3
is the 850 words individual reflection
an individual reflection about using field sites and your group presentation skills
