For this unit, you will locate information on a famous individual and practice explaining his or her personality using one or more of the theories covered in this lesson. Be sure to include the following components in your paper.
- Provide 1–2 introductory paragraphs that introduce the person and his or her background. (This will set the scene for what you are going to do through the lens of a psychological theory.)
- Include 1–2 paragraphs that introduce the theories you have selected to describe your chosen individual, and identify the theorist(s) responsible for the theories.
- Provide 1–2 paragraphs that interpret your famous individual using the language and theories you have selected. As an example, you might discuss how Madonna’s loss of her mother at a young age impacted her development through a psychoanalytic perspective.
- Be sure to reference all sources used, including those found to introduce your celebrity.
Your case study must be at least two pages in length. Utilize APA format when constructing this assignment, and include references for all sources that are used.
